A Fresh Revelation of I AM

For a long time, I thought my provision was a thing—something I had to strive for, chase after, and secure.
I believed my healing was a thing—a remedy, a process, or a breakthrough that I had to find.
I thought my progress was something I needed to measure, achieve, or attain.
My goals in life? I saw them as things.

My purpose? Another thing to discover.
I saw my protection, happiness, strength, victory, and freedom—all as things.

But then I received a revelation that changed everything.

The Revelation of I AM

When Moses stood before the burning bush, trembling with uncertainty, he asked God for a name he could give to the people of Israel. God’s response was profound and eternal:

“I AM THAT I AM” (Exodus 3:14).

In Hebrew, this name is Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, which carries deep significance. It reveals:

  • Self-Existence – God is not created; He exists by own His power. He is the source of all life, unchanging and independent.
  • Eternal Nature – He is always present, always the same, never shifting like the sands of time (Hebrews 13:8).
  • Sovereignty – No one defines Him. No one limits Him. He simply is—above all, before all, and beyond all.
  • Faithfulness – “I AM” means He will always be whatever His people need. He is not just a provider—He is a Provision. He is not just a healer—He is Healing.

That’s when I realized something life-changing:

My Provision Is a Person

My protection, fulfillment, and meaning are not things I have to chase after. They are found in a Person, and that Person is always with me.

If God is I AM, then I am in Him.
He is my goal and my end.
He is the fulfillment of my every desire.
He is the answer to my prayers.
He is the satisfaction of my longings.
He is my exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).

How can I lack when Provision walks with me?
How can I fear when Strength holds my hand?
How can I be lost when the Way lives within me?

What This Means for You and Me

Because He is, I am never alone (Matthew 28:20).
Because He is, I can trust Him fully (Numbers 23:19).
Because He is, my identity and purpose are found in Him.
Because He is, I have strength even in uncertainty.
Because He is, I can boldly declare:

  • When facing fear, I remember: "I AM" is with me (Isaiah 41:10).
  • When feeling weak, I trust: "I AM" is my strength (Philippians 4:13).
  • When seeking direction, I know: "I AM" is the way (John 14:6).
  • When needing provision, I believe: "I AM" is my provider (Genesis 22:14).
  • When feeling unworthy, I declare: "I AM" is love, and I am loved (1 John 4:8).

Ultimately, God’s name "I AM" is a reminder that He is everything we need Him to be, in every season of our lives.

I AM That I AM

I AM the voice in the burning flame,
The One who called and knew your name.
Before the stars began to shine,
I AM eternal, strong, divine.

I AM the breath that fills your soul,
The hand that makes the broken whole.
When darkness whispers, cold and deep,
I AM the watchman while you sleep.

I AM your shelter, firm and true,
A rock that storms can’t break through.
In times of loss, in times of gain,
I AM your joy, I heal your pain.

I AM the way when paths seem lost,
The One who paid the highest cost.
Through every valley, high or low,
I AM the guide where you should go.

I AM your strength when you are weak,
The voice of truth your heart should seek.
I AM enough—your life, your song,
The One who holds you all along.

So stand and trust, lift up your eyes,
I AM your hope that never dies.
Yesterday, today, the same,
I AM—forever is My name.

Let this revelation sink deep into your heart. Whatever you need, He is. Wherever you go, He is with you. And whatever lies ahead, He has already gone before you.

Live in the confidence of "I AM."
